Today’s digital hearing aids are typically offered in various levels from basic or entry-level to advanced or premium-level. Within each level, different technology and features are available.There are many different styles of hearing aids on the market today. With the help of our Audiologist, the correct choice in hearing aids could transform your life.

Invisible-In-Canal (IIC)

This invisible hearing aid option allows for individuals to have clarity they are missing in a small device that is not visible.  This style of hearing aid is recommended for someone with a mild to moderate hearing loss.

Completely-In-Canal (CIC)

CIC hearing aids allow for powerful amplification with a custom fit that is subtle and comfortable for the user.  These hearing aids are recommended for someone with a mild to moderate hearing loss.

In-The-Canal (ITC)

In-The-Canal hearing aids are designed to sit in the ear canal and sit flush with the entrance to the ear canal making manual adjustments convenient.  These hearing aids are barely visible and a great option for individuals with a mild to moderately-severe hearing loss.

In-The-Ear (ITE)

These custom fit instruments are designed to fit in the external ear.  ITE hearing aids are also a great option for anyone with dexterity issues, as they can be removed and adjusted with little to no difficulty.  Hearing losses best treated with this style range from mild to severe.

Behind-The-Ear (BTE)

Behind-The-Ear instruments can be paired with a custom fit earmold or an open fit end piece to allow for a wide range of hearing losses to be treated (mild to severely-profound).  This technology typically also comes with a miniature version allowing the device to be less noticeable behind the ear.

Receiver-In-Canal (RIC)

The receiver-in-canal devices are the most comfortable fitting hearing aid we offer.  These instruments provide a comfortable open fit that makes the sound quality the most natural.  Due to the size, it is barely visible and one of our most commonly ordered style.  This technology is a good fit for anyone with a mild to severe hearing loss.
